The Green Bean provided the radio platform for Field Day 2005, as
sponsored by the
ARRL
and operated by K1UR and K1NR. After a visit to the
FARA
site, most operation took place at
Colt State Park
in Bristol, Rhode Island, overlooking Narragansett Bay. With
temperatures in the mid 80's, dipping down to the 70's near sunset,
along with a nice breeze this made for a very scenic and comfortable
operating location.
