Callahan Cache

Photo Tour

Let's continue with a photo tour of the cache. Spoiler alert! Do not view this page until after you've found the cache yourself.

Cache #1 The first cache in this three part multi-cache is hidden up this hill. A handy tree with a hole in it was available, just big enough to fit a bright red water bottle, which contains the clue for the next cache.

Update! Looks like the red bottle got plundered. As of April 26, 2002 it's now a white bottle and in a slightly more hidden spot.

Cache #2 What is a chimney doing in the middle of the woods? Who knows, but here it is. There's a similar chimney in the northern part of the park too, on the other side of Edmands Road. It does make a handy hiding place. All the chinks between the stones are ideal for hiding a small film container, which holds the clue for the next and final cache. Cache #2

In the eastern part of the park near Packard Pond is this lean-to. Who built it? What is it for? Well...for hiding a Geocache apparently, because this is where the final cache is located. The photo on the left is the basis for the finders badge.
